This Privacy Policy describes how Screen Smart Rotation ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Sensor Data (Accelerometer)

The App accesses your device's accelerometer sensor to analyze device orientation.

Collected only when you trigger an AI posture scan.
Processed entirely on-device using TensorFlow Lite.
Used for a short analysis window (approx. 1.5 seconds).
Immediately discarded after processing.
Never sent to any external server.

1.2 Local Preferences

The App stores minimal settings locally on your device using SharedPreferences:

Onboarding status
Smart Lock enabled/disabled
Selected screen orientation

This data stays only on your device and is deleted when the app is uninstalled.

1.3 Data Collection Transparency

We do not collect personal data such as name, email, or phone number.

We do not operate any backend servers or user accounts.

Important: We do not collect device identifiers for our own independent use. However, third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics may collect device identifiers, including Advertising ID, as described below.

2. How We Use Information

To detect device orientation and apply screen rotation lock
To store user preferences locally
To analyze app usage and improve performance via analytics

We do not use data for direct marketing or user profiling.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may collect:

Advertising ID
Device information
IP address
Ad interaction data

This data is handled by Google under its own privacy policy:

3.2 Google Firebase Analytics

The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage.

This may include:

App usage events
Screen interactions
Device and app version info
Device identifiers (including Advertising ID)

This data is processed according to Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

3.3 Other Google Services

Firebase Remote Config (configuration management)
Google Play Services (in-app updates)
Google Fonts (font loading)

4. Permissions

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data.

Third-party services (AdMob & Firebase) may process data under their own policies.

6. Data Retention

Sensor data: temporarily processed and discarded immediately
Local data: stored on device until app uninstall
Analytics data: stored by Google Firebase

7. Security

All processing is done locally or by trusted Google services
No external servers are used by us

8. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Your Choices

Uninstall the app anytime
Revoke permissions from device settings
Reset Advertising ID in Google settings

We may update this policy anytime. Changes will be posted here.
